Hi I am desperately seeking help please. I purchased a nice 1994 Corvette out of C.A. and shipped it to Australia. When I had the car checked to register it for road use. I was told the air bag light was not coming on. It was diagnosed as the air bag bulb been blown. Code 61 and 62.. I took out the information module and discovered the bulb was missing. Replaced the bulb turned on the ignition and the bulb flashed about 6 times and turned off. I was delighted. Put it all back together. Started the car up put it in reverse and the airbag light came on solid (Not Flashing). Put it in neutral light goes off. Put it onto gear light goes on. Stumped.
Made an appointment with an Auto Electrician who who has worked on corvettes. He has plugged in the code reader and gets no reading. He is stumped. Can anyone please help. Would be ever so grateful.
